Under the motto "Empowering Tomorrow: AI-Driven Supply Chains for a Smarter, Faster, and More Resilient Future,” the final day featured exciting keynotes, a panel discussion, workshops, and pitches from the finalists. As in previous years, the audience's votes were taken into account in the jury's decision.
As one of Europe's largest broadline distributors of electronic components, Rutronik has relied on transparent, automated, and data-driven processes for years to efficiently serve complex markets such as automotive, industrial, energy, and automation. A central element of the strategy is multi-layered interfaces with partners along the entire value chain, as well as the integration of AI-based readers to optimize logistics processes. Particular emphasis was placed on the strategic partnership with AI expert COMI, which enabled the development of the AI Vision Document Reader and the AI Vision Label Reader within a year.
"Reaching the final is a strong sign of Rutronik's strategic role in global supply chains, especially during these challenging geopolitical times," emphasizes Fabian Plentz, COO of Rutronik. “It is also proof of our team's performance and an incentive to further strengthen our position as a European supply chain player.”
Congratulations to Audi on winning this year's Supply Chain Management Award!
