Rutronik Adapter Board – RAB7 for AI-powered Sensorfusion
The Next-Gen Adapter Board for Sensorfusion
The Adapter Board RAB7 – Sensorfusion offers state-of-the-art sensors and thereby providing all next-generation sensors of our suppliers compared to the sensing components that are provided with our first Adapter Board RAB1 for Sensorfusion. With RAB7 you can benefit from an Arduino shield adapter for evaluating and prototyping environmental and inertial sensors from Infineon, Sensirion and Bosch. It is powered via Arduino headers with a single 3.3V supply. All the sensors are configured to work with the I2C and SPI interface via Arduino compatible ADAM-TECH connectors. Every particular sensor can be disconnected from the power supply and I2C circuits by unsoldering solder bridges which helps to just use the sensor which are needed for a particular sensorfusion application.
Sensorfusion is the Future and Basis of Artificial Intelligence
To get the best out of a sensorfusion application it is important to use the best sensors. This is why we added best performance sensors from our leading sensor suppliers, such as
- Infineon's digital XENSIVTM barometric pressure sensor with the DPS368XTSA1,
- Bosch's digital pressure sensor with the BMP585,
- Sensirion's indoor air quality sensor for VOC measurements, the SGP41-D-R4,
- Bosch's digital low-power gas, pressure, temperature, and humidity sensor with AI, the BME690,
- Bosch's 6-axis, smart, low-power inertial measurement unit, the BMI323, and
- Sensirion's high-accuracy and low-power relative humidity and temperature sensor, the SHT41-AD1B-R2.
Benefit from the BMM350, Bosch's 3-axis magnetic sensor. With this sensor, 9-axis absolute orientation is now possible for navigation instead of just relative orientation, as the earth's magnetic field can also be detected.
“With the RAB7, engineers for sensing applications benefit from a selection of best-in-class environmental sensors to detect and combine all important environmental parameters for state-of-the-art sensorfusion applications with or without the use of AI.”
– Stephan Menze, Head of Global Innovation Management at Rutronik
