German Champions! Congratulations!
Year after year! The Stars shine!
We congratulate our Stars on winning the German championship in the 2025/2026 season. Their second title in a row. Fantastic! With consistent top performances, unbridled determination, and fighting spirit, the Stars impressively demonstrated their dominant position in German women’s basketball.
Out of 22 regular-season league games, the Stars won 21; the team “gave away” the cup final to ALBA Berlin. There were two losses in the playoffs, but they ultimately prevailed confidently against all opponents.
Central to this success is captain and star player Alexandra Wilke. The national team player was deservedly named MVP—that is, Most Valuable Player—of both the regular season and the finals series. And rightly so! Congratulations on an outstanding season. Good news: Before the finals series, Alex Wilke extended her contract with RSK. We look forward to the next season.
The success story continues!
Since their promotion to the Bundesliga in 2015, the Rutronik Stars Keltern have been racking up one success after another. In their tenth year in the league, the Stars reached their ninth final. Their record of 5 titles and 4 runner-up finishes is more than impressive. Added to that are numerous top finishes in the cup competition.
This was yet another great achievement, and we’re already looking forward to next season.
