The Diakoniestation Ispringen employs around 60 people to look after approximately 320 individuals in need of care in Ispringen. The Diakoniestation relies on functional and reliable vehicles to provide outpatient care in Ispringen households, transport elderly people to doctors' surgeries and hospitals, and provide a pick-up service for weekly activities aimed at active senior citizens. In particular, an estate car promises a little more comfort and space in the boot for pick-up and transportation services than the small cars often associated with Diakonie. The vehicle donation therefore comes at just the right time, supporting the important services offered by the Diakoniestation Ispringen. "We are delighted about the appreciation of our work and the concrete support. The vehicle will help our colleagues make trips to doctors outside Ispringen, which are in high demand," said Andrea Haas, Managing Director of the Diakoniestation Ispringen. "The entire board is pleased that social responsibility is being practiced in the region, and this vehicle handover is representative of that," added Dr. Matthias Schlüter, Chairman of the Board of the Krankenpflegeverein Ispringen e. V., who got the car keys from Helmut Rudel and Thomas Rudel alongside Andrea Haas.
"I have already discussed the need for a vehicle for the Diakoniestation Ispringen with Dr. Keller, Dr. Schlüter's predecessor, and initiated the process, " said Helmut Rudel, president and founder of Rutronik, who arranged the donation of the vehicle on Rutronik's behalf. "It is great to see how quickly and easily we were able to help," he continued. Thomas Rudel, Rutronik's CEO, summarized: "A big thank you to everyone involved, especially our fleet management team, who organized the handover so quickly. The fact that we were able to hand over the car keys so quickly shows what can be achieved when everyone works together. " With the vehicle donation, Rutronik combines two core values: social responsibility and sustainable economic action. "As a company rooted in the region, it is important to us to take on social responsibility — locally, practically, and straightforwardly," concluded Thomas Rudel.
