The course consists of several modules that are geared to Rutronik's product portfolio: Basics of electrical engineering, information technology, passive components, active components 1 to 4, electromechanical components, storage & displays, boards, embedded and wireless. The training courses last several months and last a total of 120 hours. The course is also open to employees of customers and manufacturers.
Training manager Rainer Hügin took stock in his speech: "Since 2011, when the first seminars were held, the range of courses has been steadily expanded within the framework of the Rutronik Academy, which was founded in 2012. IT training courses on Excel and PowerPoint are also part of the training programme. Both President Helmut Rudel and CEO Thomas Rudel are particularly interested in the further training of their employees. "For this reason, we are delighted to award our colleagues the Certified Rutronik Engineer title for the fourth time. To date, a total of 390 participants have taken part in the training courses and 109 of them have completed the course. There are also 282 participants from 87 external partners," says Hügin.
"Competence is one of Rutronik's core values"
Dominik Schmidt, Head of HR Development & Recruiting, explained: "In addition to performance, excellence, trust, family and success, competence is also one of our core values. Today, we offer 59 in-house training courses on all kinds of topics and also promote external training for our employees. No day goes by without at least one Rutroniker taking part in an individual, external training course".
"Especially in the changing distribution landscape, it is important to be up to date with the latest technical developments. This is the only way to create added value for your customers that goes beyond Google. Consulting in particular is our strength and is becoming more and more important. This requires the appropriate know-how, because it ensures the long-term success of the company," says Markus Zühlke, Director Sales Germany.
