Thanks to a low gain error of only ± 0.05% and a minimal gain drift of typically 15 ppm/°C, the components enable precise, calibration-free measurements over time and temperature. Their high bandwidth of 400 kHz also allows significantly higher measurement speeds compared to conventional optoelectronic isolation amplifiers.
Other features of the VIA series include low offset error with minimal drift, reinforced isolation, and integrated diagnostic functions. The built-in common-mode voltage detection prevents measurement errors in current and voltage applications, making the amplifiers the ideal choice for safety-critical and particularly reliability-critical applications.
In combination with Vishay's compatible WSBE shunts – with low TCR and high performance – the amplifiers offer outstanding overall performance over the extended temperature range from -40 °C to +125 °C.
Benefits at a glance:
- Linear input voltage range: ± 50 mV
- Low gain drift: typ. ± 15 ppm/°C
- Low gain error: typ. ± 0.05 %
- High common-mode interference rejection (CMTI): 150 kV/μs
Application examples:
- Isolated precision current and voltage measurements for
- bus voltage monitoring,
- AC motor controls,
- power and solar inverters and UPS,
- high-voltage potential dividers and precision shunts,
- industrial motor drives,
- renewable energy systems and critical energy systems
