The YK series relies on hybrid technology that combines conductive polymer and liquid electrolyte in the capacitor. This combines the advantages of both technologies for very low ESR and high ripple current resistance without excessive heating.
With an extended operating temperature range from -55 °C to +135 °C, the YK series achieves comparable capacitance values of approx. 33 µF to 470 µF, depending on the rated voltage and size. For example, the YK capacitors offer up to 330 µF @ 35 V in a 10 mm x 10 mm SMD package, while the previous YH model only delivered 150 µF @ 35 V with a similar size. Depending on the model, the rated voltage of the capacitors is typically between 25 V and 63 V DC.
