The MX81 series from Japan Aviation Electronics (JAE) has been specially developed for compact control units, sensors and lighting systems in automobiles. The connectors are available in 2- and 4-pin versions and feature a contact-stable, vibration-resistant design in accordance with USCAR-2.

The compatible through-hole pin headers are made of UL94 V-0-rated material and suitable for reflow soldering processes, making the series ideal for space-critical applications on control boards.
