The connectors come in 10- and 14-pin versions and fully comply with IEC 60664-1, including optimized creepage and clearance distances at high voltage levels. Depending on the design requirements, users can choose between MX80-compatible crimp terminals or 0.63-mm EU-standard terminals with a common pin header, ensuring maximum flexibility for OEM layouts. An optional CPA (Connector Position Assurance) provides an additional safety lock during mating.
Tested according to key automotive standards such as USCAR-2, USCAR-37, LV214 and LV215, the MY05 Series is suitable for harsh automotive environments. The operating temperature range extends from -40 °C to +125 °C. Designers can choose between straight or right-angle through-hole pin headers, both optimized for pin-in-paste/reflow soldering processes.
Typical use cases include BMS connections between BMU, BCU and cell modules, high-voltage sensing and control lines, as well as next-generation EV platforms. The compact MY05 connectors, rated up to 1,000 V DC, are also used in high-voltage industrial systems.
