Smart processes and working with Electronic Data Exchange (EDI) within the supply chain is one of the main strategy at Rutronik.

Since a lot of years Rutronik is working on smart processes. Automatization by EDI is one main tool. But our focus is also on the process itself. How we are able to get a smarter process by reducing unnecessary steps? How we are able to work in a smarter way with benefits for all sides? The answers can be given by our Supply Chain Solutions Team. They are improving our processes internally and together with our customer or supplier. The mission is to provide an efficient, flexible and safe process for our partner.

EDI possibilities:

• Incoming messages like orders, forecast, inventory, …
• Outgoing messages like order confirmation, invoice, delivery note, master data, …
• All common communication standards like AS2, OFTP, FTP, SMTP, …
• All common formats like EDIFACT, VDA, Idoc, and all MS-Office solutions, …

Process possibilities:

• Forecast based order processing instead of orders order confirmation and order change
• C-Part Management for low value parts
• Combine different Replenishment Modules like Consignation, Delivery Schedule, Kanban, VMI, …
