SECH ultracapacitors, also known as supercapacitors, are used as a direct electrical energy storage device. They can be charged and discharged very quickly or used as a power back-up device. SECH small cell ultracapacitors are available in the industry standard dimensions with capacities ranging from 3 to 100F. All ultracapacitors have a nominal single cell voltage of 3.0V. SECH ultracapacitors present a very high energy and power density compared to similar products. The cells feature energy densities of up to 6Wh/kg and a power density of up to 8kW/kg. Therefore, the cells can be run with little loss and efficiently even with high charging and discharging currents.
SECH ultracapacitors combine the latest research from materials science with innovative and patented manufacturing processes. The high-end manufacturing allows to offer the customers products with a good cost-performance ratio. All ultracapacitors fulfil the testing requirements of the norms based on AEC-Q200 and other industrial standards.
