At the end of 2021, Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH created a special flashback countdown. Each click counted following the motto "Click, Click, donate!" as the family-owned company gave one euro per click to Sterneninsel e. V. Thanks to the high level of participation, a considerable sum was achieved, which Rutronik rounded up to 3,000 euros. That donation goes to the long-standing partnership to support the important work of the children's and young people's hospice service.

Taking responsibility and positively shaping society are elementary components of Rutronik's corporate philosophy. The look back at 2021 offered exciting insights into the world of electronics while supporting Sterneninsel e. V. For every click on one of the little doors, Rutronik donated one euro to the children and youth hospice service. A significant sum was achieved, which Rutronik rounded up to 3,000 euros. Rutronik donated the amount to the longstanding partner that accompanies families with children, young people, or parents suffering from life-threatening or life-shortening illnesses. In doing that, the full-time and volunteer employees make an important contribution and support affected families. That engagement, Sterneninsel e. V. also encourages social discourse and an open approach to hospice work, especially for children and young people.

"We are a family-owned company, so values such as supporting each other, responsibility, trust, reliability, and heartiness are strongly anchored in our minds. All of that is reflected in the work of our partner Sterneninsel e. V.," explains Thomas Rudel, CEO of Rutronik. "With our donation, we would like to contribute so that the team of the youth and children's hospice service can provide affected families support, strength, and a helping hand. It is impossible to overemphasize how significant the commitment of these people is."
