As part of the DX07 series, the DX07S024JJ2R1300 on-board connector combines high-speed communication up to USB 3.2 and TBT3 (Thunderbold) with space-saving design. It integrates a two-row SMT connection for horizontal boards and a rear shield. The connector is not only compliant with the Universal Serial Bus Type-C specification version 1.3, but also supports USB Power Delivery with a power supply of up to 5A. Thanks to its reversible plug orientation, it enables insertion and removal both ways.
Additional features of the DX07S024JJ2R1300 include a long-lasting lock structure, excellent EMI/EMC properties and high mechanical strength of plug and socket. The robust connector allows up to 10,000 mating cycles and is USB-IF (USB Implementers Forum)-certified. It has 24 contacts with a contact resistance of 40mΩ min and is suitable for an operating temperature range of -30°C to 80°C. The connector targets at applications such as smartphones, tablets, personal computers, digital cameras, industrial cameras, monitors, headphones, portable game consoles and the like, replacing USB Type-A in many of these applications.
