3.0 V primary battery for portable, small electronic devices: Rutronik offers Li-MnO2 button cells in customizable blister packs from EEMB

03/25/2024 Product News

The CR2032 lithium manganese dioxide cells from EEMB are available in blister packs of 5, which – depending on the project volume – can be customized according to customer specifications. The advantages of blister packs are the easy handling and the protective function for the batteries inside: Moisture, dust, or even mechanical stresses can't harm the button cell. In combination with individualized packaging, they can be added to an application as an additional battery or as a backup for customer service. The non-rechargeable primary battery is ideal as a memory and RTC backup. The CR2032 Li-MnO2 button cells from EEMB are available at www.rutronik24.com

Due to their lithium manganese dioxide (Li-MnO2) technology, the button cells from EEMB impress with their low weight of around 3.0 g and their reliable performance in a wide ambient temperature range of -20 °C to +70 °C. This distinguishes them from other primary battery technologies and makes them ideal for portable devices and small electronic appliances.

In addition, they have a self-discharge rate of just ≤ 3 %, which means that Li-MnO2 batteries can retain a significant proportion of their stored energy for years – even if they are not used.
