Markus Zühlke has been with Rutronik since 2007, initially as the Head of the Product Segment Resistors, and since 2010 as Head of the entire Passive Components Division. Before he joined Rutronik, Markus Zühlke had already served the EPIQ Group in a variety of management positions for seven years. As the Sales Director Germany at Rutronik, Zühlke assumes responsibility for 13 offices with around 150 employees working in field and office sales and customer service.
The Sales team collaborates with the Business Development Managers, Product Marketing and the Field Application Engineers to support customers in all technical, logistical and commercial matters, ranging from development to serial production to RMA/PDN/EOL services. "I very much look forward to developing this sales organization further. A key part of this will be the ongoing optimization of the supply chain via our tailored logistics solutions, for the purpose of securing reliable supply channels for our customers. Another focus lies in technical consulting and development support.
With state-of-the-art products and innovative solutions, we aim to support our customers to always be a step ahead of the competition in an environment where product lifecycles are becoming ever shorter and where changes in market conditions constantly pick up pace. To this end, we will be linking the activities of Sales and Product Marketing even more closely," said Markus Zühlke.
Stefan Sutalo, the new Marketing Director Passive Components, started in Purchasing at Rutronik around 15 years ago before becoming Product Sales Manager and, in 2009, Senior Marketing Manager Electrolytic, Film and Tantalum Capacitors. In 2012, he also became the Deputy Marketing Director Passive Components. Denis Bittigkoffer, who will be succeeding Stefan Sutalo as Senior Marketing Manager, began his career at Rutronik in 2008, initially as a trainee, then as Product Sales Manager in the Film and Electrical Double-Layer Capacitors (EDLCs) segment.
"We are particularly pleased to have been able to fill all three management positions internally," explained Thomas Rudel, CEO of Rutronik. "In the years that they have already served Rutronik, they have all demonstrated their ability to combine professional expertise with management qualities and unconditional commitment. This will enable them to drive their respective divisions forward in their new positions and contribute to keeping Rutronik on its success path."
