Lots of embedded boards prefer slim SATA as the optimum form factor due to the 3.3 Volt supply and dual hole fixture which allows utilization in rugged environments .The X-60s / X-600s series is designed for all industrial and NetCom applications requiring high data transfer rates up to 525 MB/s in sequential access and 79,000 IOPS in 4KB random access.
In addition, they offer a wide range of features such as Swissbit's proven Power Fail Safety, ATA security feature set, Data Care Management, a Windows or Linux tool & SDK for detailed S.M.A.R.T. based Life Time Monitoring, NCQ, TRIM, advanced Wear Leveling & Bad Block management and in-field firmware update functionality.
Swissbit's industrial grade M.2 SATA 6Gb/s SSDs are ideal solutions for embedded and networking/communication applications requiring Solid State storage in a small form factor.
The durabit™ X-60m2 SSD with MLC technology and equivalent SLC version X-600m2 offer highest endurance and sustained performance by combining a powerful controller with DRAM supported FTL. The X-60m2 uses increased overprovisioning for enhanced endurance. The modules are available in 2242, 2260 and 2280 size. In addition, the M.2 products feature Swissbit's proven Power Fail Safety, Data Care management, ATA security feature set, NCQ, TRIM, advanced Wear Leveling & Bad Block management and in-field firmware update functionality. The Swissbit Life Time Monitoring tool provides detailed S.M.A.R.T. based status information for all Swissbit SSDs.
The latest microSD Memory Card Series S-45u (MLC version), S-46u (pSLC version), S-450u and S-455u (SLC version) include the same set of sophisticated features and, through the implementation of UHS-I, support data transfer rates of up to 48 MB/s. The combination of MLC (Multi Level Cell) NAND Flash with an innovative controller and page based firmware technology enables prolonged data retention and extended life cycles despite the write endurance limitations of MLC Flash.
The S-455u Series SLC (Single Level Cell) NAND Flash with page based firmware technology guarantees highest random write operations.
The S-46u and S-45u SD memory cards excel with a random write data rate of up to 1400 IOPS.
CFast™ cards combine two existing industry standards into a single product: the CompactFlash™ (CF) card form factor and the Serial ATA (SATA) interface commonly used in hard disks.
The Swissbit SATA 6Gb/s durabit™ F-60 CFast™ card offers highest MLC endurance and sustained performance by combining a powerful controller with DRAM supported FTL and increased overprovisioning.
The lower cost standard MLC based F-50 and the high end SLC version F-600 complete the family. They achieve data transfer rates up to 520 MB/s in sequential access and 72,000 IOPS in 4KB random access. In addition, the series features Swissbit's proven Power Fail Safety, Data Care management, ATA security feature set, NCQ, TRIM, advanced Wear Leveling & Bad Block management and in-field firmware update functionality. The Swissbit Life Time Monitoring tool provides detailed S.M.A.R.T. based status information.
Swissbit's Industrial SD Memory Cards series benefit from an advanced system architecture and intelligent firmware with an impressive feature set.
The MLC card S-45 of the durabit™ family uses a page based firmware and results in unprecedented endurance and random write performance for MLC technology. This card is both optimized for read intensive as well as random write intensive applications.
The S-45/S-46 firmware features include powerful built-in error correction, read retry, autonomous data care management, randomizer, wear leveling and bad block management algorithms, and intelligent power fail protection. The Swissbit SD Memory Cards are supported by the Swissbit life time monitoring for real time status information.
Applications that demand highest endurance and performance benefit from the SLC based S-450 and S-455 series. The S-450 series supports data transfer rates of up to 80 MB/s and offers the same data care features as the S-45. The S-455 series offers maximum TeraBytes Written (TBW) for small logging applications. All series fulfill UHS-I, class 10 speed grade. By only using the strong bit of an MLC cell the S-46 pSLC version increases the endurance by a factor of 6.7 against MLC and offers all the features of the S-45.
CompactFlash™ (CF) cards are still a very popular flash-based storage solution used in the embedded and industrial markets. The form factor as well as the connector is well established. With strong focus on quality, reliability, robustness and longevity, Swissbit designs its cards with no compromise. We only select components and apply design rules which fit the stringent requirements of our industrial customers. Our hardware and firmware has been tested and qualified by our experienced team and proved in many challenging customer applications.
Swissbit's EM-20 e.MMC fulfills the JEDEC 5.0 standard and offers a reliable and stable storage product with true industrial operating temperature. The page based flash management enables both a high performance and high write endurance. Read disturb management eliminates risk of data loss for read intensive application and makes the EM-20 ideal for application like POS/POI, PLC, IoT, gaming, medical, or as a general boot medium for embedded applications.
The EM-20 is optimized for long life cycle that requires superior data retention as well as power fail safety.
The Swissbit Security variations base upon the standard SD and microSD Memory Cards with additional data protection features.
Swissbit's middleware creates the standardized layer to offer security functionality to the system without the need to understand the underlying hardware interfaces.
Systems with SD and microSD Memory Card interface can easily be updated to the protection level of a smart card chip.
