The first hint the trainees and students of Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH got, sparked joy in their hearts: The roughly 40 participants were set to travel by bus in the direction of Freiburg and after two thirds of the journey should take exit 57b to arrive at their destination.

“We soon came to the conclusion that our destination would be Europa-Park“, said Lisa, student at Rutronik.

At 7.15 early Tuesday morning at the journey to Rust started at the main building in Ispringen. After two hours of travel the tour group arrived at Europa-Park, Germany’s largest amusement park. The trainees and students split up into small groups to explore highlights like the „Bluefire“ and „Silver Star“ rollercoasters.

At 12 a.m. the whole group met for lunch break. „Everybody was free to visit shows and ride rollercoasters afterwards. Thanks to the fine weather we didn’t mind getting wet while riding the attractions”, said Lukas. “Our personal highlight was the newly opened‚ Voletarium‘. It is giving you the impression of having a scenic flight over Europe”, said Marcel. After a group photo we travelled back to Ispringen at 6 p.m.
