According to the “Deutschland Test” survey conducted by Focus Money, IT specialists rated Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH the most attractive employer in the wholesaler category. Scoring 100 from a possible 100 points, the distributor came out on top.

IT specialists are in demand: According to a survey conducted by the industry association Bitkom, there were 51,000 unfilled vacancies at the end of 2016. In addition to offering an above-average salary, companies must also consider other factors in order to attract jobseekers or IT specialists willing to change jobs. The working time model, work-life balance, and professional development opportunities all play a role here. Equally important is a company’s innovative strength. In the “Deutschland Test” survey “Top Career Opportunities for IT Graduates” conducted by Focus Money, more than 4,700 companies from 38 industries were tested on the basis of these criteria.

Once again on top of the winner’s podium
With 100 from a possible 100 points, Rutronik achieved the top position in the wholesaler category, setting the benchmark in the industry. “We are very proud of the award ‘Top Career Opportunities for IT Specialists’,” said Thomas Rudel, CEO of Rutronik. “Our strategy of reacting innovatively and flexibly to change is paying off. In times of ever faster technological development, our employees are always working at the cutting edge. At the same time, the flexible working time model gives them extensive opportunities to balance their careers and families. What’s more, they are able to take advantage of a wide range of professional development courses and sporting activities.”

The basis of the survey
The survey consisted of a three-stage process: In addition to a questionnaire sent to companies, the rating also included a social listening analysis from news websites and social media sources. These criteria were subsequently weighted and collated in order to determine the total number of point scored by the company.
