With the construction of its new production plant, this Taiwanese manufacturer of DRAM memory solutions has switched its production to 20nm technology, allowing them to produce up to 38,000 wafers each month.The total capacity of the production plant is 68,000 wafers per month. Modernization will enable the productio nof an entire product line with DDR4 and LPDDR4x for use in smart car, smart home, smart office and Industry 4.0 applications.
Andreas Mangler, Head of Strategic Marketing at Rutronik, was among the roughly 200 invited guests at the exclusive inauguration ceremony. The guests also included Taiwan's then-Prime Minister Lin Chuan, Minister of Education Wen-Chung Pan and the Mayor of Taipei Ko Wen-je.
