Who is actually... Thomas Schneemilch?

  Newsletter Article

Thomas Schneemilch has been part of the Rutronik24 family since May 2013 – more than five years – and looks after the region of Bavaria in his role as sales representative. He never gets bored at work, because every day is different and offers new challenges. He wanted to be a helicopter pilot as a boy and he remains fascinated by aircraft to this day. If he won a million euros, however, he wouldn’t study for his pilot license. Instead, he would rather buy a house and go on vacation.

1.      Tell us about your career at Rutronik24.

I have been a sales representative for the region of Bavaria since May 2013 and am able to look back on more than five interesting and challenging years – and plenty of really nice moments with my customers and colleagues. That is also one of the reasons why I enjoy my job so much: Every day is different! I also get a great deal of pleasure from the contact with my customers and the trust that has been established during this time.

2.      What do you most enjoy about your job?

The contact with my customers and successfully managing their projects.

3.      “If I won a million euros on the lotto, I would …”

Start by doing something very down-to-earth – buy a house and take three months off work to travel. Countries such as Sweden, America, and Cuba would be on my list.

4.      When you approach a difficult task – what helps you to think?

If I get stuck, I generally think about something completely different and then all of a sudden I come up with a solution to the task or problem.

5.      Which famous person would you most like to meet and why?

Carolin Kebekus. I think she’s so funny, but unfortunately her shows are always sold out.

I would love to spend a day in her company without the media circus and find out what she’s really like.

6.      What food/confectionery are you unable to resist?

Goulash – preferably made by either of my parents. They both make it totally differently, but it is always delicious! It’s an easy choice when it comes to confectionery: cookies, regardless of the shape, taste, or color.

7.      What was your dream job as a child?

I always wanted to be a helicopter pilot. To this day, I find these aircraft interesting and fascinating.

8.      What couldn’t you do without in your life?

My brother! We are always there for one another and have a really good relationship.

9.      What is your favorite pastime?

Oh dear, I’m afraid it’s rather difficult to pin me down to one favorite pastime. I like to spend time with my friends; we go training or cycling or do other great things together. If I don’t feel like going out, I am always up for watching a good film.
