Tell us more about your career at Rutronik?

All it took was a random click on the website of one of our manufacturers and a telephone call with our delightful receptionist Marielle, and just a week later I was already working in Volketswil near Zurich. Because I was welcomed so warmly and the liking was mutual, I knew: this is where I needed to sign!

The constant contact with all the different characters you meet.

Helping people I work with and seeing them smile is my personal sense of success.

“If I won a million euros in the lottery, I would ...”

Ask Uncle Scrooge how I could earn the second million to help people in need.

When you approach a difficult task, what helps you think?

Putting the challenge aside for a moment, breathing in the fresh air, reaching into the candy drawer, and trying to change my point of view.

Where do you prefer to go on vacation and why?

I prefer to be on the beach and generally like to be where it is warm and the sun is smiling down on me – with a glass of water to recharge my batteries.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things (THINGS! not people!) would you bring with you?

Something to play music, a hammock, and a grill with a built-in lighter.

What food/sweet temptation are you unable to resist?

Pizza margherita, chocolate and Mom’s cooking.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

After seeing Armageddon with Bruce Willis, where he saves the earth by blowing up an asteroid ... I really wanted to become an astronaut!

What could you not do without in your life?

Our admin team and support in Volketswil.

What’s your favorite thing to do in your free time?

Since my hobby is Latin dances like salsa and bachata, I spend a lot of time training and on weekends I can be found at salsa events.
To balance things out, I like to be lazy and spend a lot of time with friends.
