Rutronik donates to social institutions

Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH donates 100 warehouse carts to local organizations in Pforzheim. In keeping with its focus on social and environmental engagement, the company has handed over carts that are no longer needed to four different institutions in Pforzheim, Germany: 50 to the Technisches Hilfswerk (Federal Agency for Technical Relief), 40 to Lebenshilfe (a charity supporting and advocating for people with disabilities), 5 to the Red Cross, and 5 to the DLRG (German Life Saving Association).

"The carts still work perfectly, so it would be ecologically irresponsible to simply scrap them. That's why we decided to donate them," says Cord Hustedt, Manager Warehouse Logistics at Rutronik.

Sustainability is part of the company philosophy for the distributor in Ispringen. "As a family company, we look at more than just raw figures. We have a responsibility to our society. In addition, our roots are in the local region, so we are happy to support social projects in the region. We think that this goes without saying," says Thomas Rudel, CEO of Rutronik.
