Accuracy & easy control

DPS310 pressure sensor – digital barometric pressure sensor for high precision and accuracy across temperature changes

The DPS310 sensor, a miniaturized digital barometric pressure sensor, features motion tracking that keeps the multicopter flying stable. The sensor, based on capacitive MEMS technology, guarantees optimal operation in variable environmental conditions with high precision to +/-0.005 hPa and low current consumption of just 1.7 μA for pressure measurement.

DPS310 Shuttle Board

The shuttle board can be connected to Infineon's sensor hub nano, using SPI/I2C interface. The board has four DPS310 barometric pressure sensors mounted on it.

DPS310 Sensor Hub Nano

The miniaturized sensor hub includes Bluetooth® 4.0 connectivity, battery and a DPS310 pressure sensor mounted on the same PCB/board. This stand-alone board is perfect for fast testing of the DPS310 in various use cases.

DPS310 benefits:

  • Ultra-high Resolution: +/-0.006hPa resolution that equals to +/-5cm.
  • Most Accurate Solution: Capacitive sensing element has a very good temperature stability and linear temperature dependency. DPS310 relative accuracy +/-0.06hPa
  • Lower System Power: Integrated FIFO can store up to 32 pressure / temperature measurements. The sensor hub can be powered down between the readings.
  • Optimized Energy Usage: The current consumption in low power mode: Pressure measurement 1.7µA and Temperature measurement 1.5µA
  • Integration: Further integration both on silicon level and system level as well as with other sensors
