The congress will be opened on June 5 with a guide tour of the Rutronik Logistics Center, which will include a presentation of innovative logistics concepts.
The first congress organized by the Rutronik Automotive Business Unit addresses the numerous strategic challenges faced by the automotive segment. Speakers at the event include representatives from Hella, Infineon, Rohm, and ST. The congress primarily targets decision-makers in companies that develop or manufacture vehicle electronics.
The Specialist Congress begins on June 6 with welcoming words from Peter Gresch, Managing Director of PGUB Management Consultants. The keynote will be presented by Markus Krieg, Managing Director Marketing at Rutronik and Uwe Rahn, Director of the Automotive Business Unit. In a total of nine presentations, experts from OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers will be providing insights into decisive trends and strategic developments in this industry segment. The congress will close with a panel discussion on the most volatile topics in the automobile industry, such as self-driving vehicles, connectivity, and electrification.
The automotive market is extremely important for Rutronik
"Since the founding of the company, the automotive market has always been one of the most important target markets for Rutronik - in fact, around 50 percent of the company's revenue is generated with products that are directly or indirectly related to automotive applications. We made the decision to organize our own Automotive Congress to enable dialog between several of the leading manufacturers in this segment, our customers, and all other parties interested in the challenges currently faced by the industry. Also, we want to demonstrate our position as a facilitator for OEMs, suppliers, and component manufacturers," explains Uwe Rahn, Director of the Automotive Business Unit at Rutronik.
