People who are finishing school in Germany are spoiled for choice when it comes to selecting a profession with the several hundred vocational qualifications in over 400,000 companies, which is why prospective trainees analyze potential businesses and professional opportunities with a keen eye. In the wholesale segment, Rutronik is considered to be a very attractive employer, with Focus Money's ranking putting the globally operating distributor at tenth place.
A total of 13 factors, including rate of trainees employed following graduation, sponsorship schemes, additional benefits and mentoring programs, were reflected in the study. The results were then weighted and the final result generated on this basis. "We are very proud of this result and hope to do even better next year. Young people are our future and we aim to provide them with the challenges and support they need so that they are ideally prepared for their working lives," explained Thomas Rudel, CEO of Rutronik.
