Rutronik adds function to its e-commerce platforms: New ‘project list’ function simplifies ordering

created by RUTRONIK Marketing |   Corporate News

Rutronik has further improved its webg@te and Rutronik24 e-commerce platforms. The new ‘project list’ feature makes selecting and purchasing products even faster and more efficient.

Webg@te and rutronik24.com now enable Rutronik and Rutronik24 customers to save all the components required for a project under one project name. Every customer can open as many projects as required, naming them freely. In the event of repeat orders, simply by selecting the corresponding project the customer is able to quickly and easily order all or a number of the components it contains or to obtain a detailed quote. As with every order placed via webg@te and rutronik24.com, along with the products, the PCNs, customer-specific, current prices and availability are displayed in real time here. Should the component composition of a project change, the customer may remove individual items from the saved project and select new components from the catalogue, adding them to the project via the ‘add to project’ button.

Rutronik’s webg@te and rutronik24.com

Rutronik’s webg@te and the rutronik24.com e-commerce platform provide access to more than one million items. Customers are able to use the intelligent search functions to select the components they need with ease. The new option complements the proven features. These include comprehensive, intelligent search options as per technical parameters, parts numbers or full text as well as RFP, direct and sample ordering. Using the mass quotation tool, customers are able to upload their parts lists as an Excel file. The tool then automatically generates the Rutronik item list, from which the customer can directly order the desired items or request a personal quote. Suggestions for alternative replacement items with a list of deviating parameters are also helpful in the event of discontinued components or long delivery times. Existing PCNs (product change notifications) are always visible on the product. When required, assistance in selecting components can be sought from the Rutronik product consultant and direct contact with the product specialist is also possible via the Internet. In the procurement area, the customers can view their orders, quotes, contracts, items with order number and status, preferred date and delivery date and benefit from real-time order tracking.<xml></xml>
