Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH is to receive the “Fastest Growing European Distributor 2010” award from Diodes Inc. for the fastest growth in Europe in 2010. The distributor has marketed Diodes Inc. products throughout Europe since January 2005 and has recorded continuous and above-average growth throughout this period.

“In Rutronik, we have a partner who is distributing our products very successfully to its customers. This is due not only to its extensive distribution network throughout Europe, but above all to extremely professional on-site support from sales engineers and to its Product Marketing and Line Management functions,” explains Oliver Woyke, European Sales Manager at Diodes Incorporated. “With our award, we want to recognize the outstanding work by Rutronik that led to above-average growth in 2010. Looking to the future, we aim to continue growing the joint sales of the entire Diodes product range, including our Zetex brand.”

Rutronik distributes the complete Diodes product portfolio, including discrete components, high-performance semiconductors, analogue components and sensors. As a result, the distributor and Diodes jointly offer comprehensive advice and technical support services in addition to imparting knowledge through regular seminar series, tech days, sales and FAE training courses and various sales action days. The partners focus in particular on the Industrial and Automotive markets across Europe. “Diodes Incorporated is constantly inspiring us and our customers with new and very innovative products that combine high quality with an attractive price-performance ratio,” says Nadja Ifen, Line Manager at Rutronik. “We are delighted to receive the Diodes award. It affirms our strategy of focusing on comprehensive and thorough technical and commercial support. At the same time, the award acts as an incentive for us to further expand and improve our advisory services.”
